motion graphics
This week, we watched two videos. The first was called "The Moon and the Sun- An imagined conversation" by John Canemaker and the second was a video from Adam Philips, but I chose to blog on a different one of his videos. I really enjoyed John's video over Adam's because I like how he mixed real pictures with his drawings. Despite the seriousness of the conversation, I liked how real it is. I loved the simplicity of his artwork basically showing a simple drawing can express something serious and even win an oscar. The second video I watched was Prowlies at the River. I think Adam's work is pretty comical and it's cool to see how he develops his creatures. I didn't even read the description until after the video was over and thought it was a funny twist to see after all Bitey's fighting with the Prowlies, he drinks water that was just contaminated. The story line was funny as well as his graphics. It's always cool to see the difference between two great artist's works.
